Program Description

Drainworld gives AI personalities to physical Drainvader art installations in San Francisco. When you text a character's phone number, you enter a conversation with that character. Characters are AI-generated personas — they are not real people.

How It Works

1. You find a Drainvader installation in San Francisco.
2. You text the phone number displayed at the installation.
3. The character responds. You can have a conversation.
4. Sending a selfie with the installation unlocks the character's full personality.

Message Frequency

You will only receive messages in direct response to messages you send. Drainworld characters do not send unsolicited messages. Typical message frequency is 1 response per message you send.

Standard message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your text messaging plan.

Opt-Out

Text STOP to any Drainworld number at any time to stop receiving messages. You will receive a confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.

Your Conduct

Do not use Drainworld to:

• Send illegal, harmful, or abusive content.
• Attempt to extract personal information about other users.
• Spam or flood characters with automated messages.

We reserve the right to block phone numbers that violate these terms.

Drainvader installations, character designs, and the Drainworld system are the property of Drainvader. Conversations you have with characters are not published or shared without your consent.

Limitation of Liability

Drainworld is an art project provided as-is. We make no warranties about availability, accuracy of character responses, or fitness for any particular purpose. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service.
